Travel through time with a replica of a 1,500-year-old olive tree.
It was an exceptional honor for us to work on the project of creating a replica of a 1500-year-old olive tree in the Visitor Center of Hidden Dalmatia in Dugopolje.
At the same time, it was a great challenge and inspiration for us, so this magnificent olive tree reminds us of the beauty of the past and the importance of preserving nature for future generations.
From the initial draft, to the making of the model, to the actual execution, we enjoyed every step of the creation.
With our manual modeling techniques, on a metal substructure, we created an olive tree skin, which is a realistic representation of a 1,500-year-old olive skin.
During production, every imperfection on the bark caused by exposure to wind, rain, lightning, and insects was realistically depicted.
Taking into account the technical requirements, the installation of the screen in the trunk of the olive tree, a place to hide the cables in the trunk, and the size and height of the space itself, we created an olive tree that fascinates with its size and convincing appearance.
It is precisely through the realism of the olive tree by Stena projects that visitors to the Center are given an authentic experience of nature and this wonderful tree.
